Pier 25, Hudson River Park

Description

It's rare that a spot fits the needs of such a diverse array of visitors—from first-time Internet dates to families with children—but TriBeCa's Pier 25 manages to pull off that feat. There's an astounding assortment of activities in which to partake: historic vessels, mini-golf, volleyball, a kids' playground, skate park and more. The pier, the longest in Hudson River Park, also offers small boat moorings and lovely views of the water. And if you work up a thirst or appetite at any of the aforementioned, there are plenty of nearby restaurants and, in the summer months, a snack stand on the pier itself.
