Pier 62 at Hudson River Park
Description
Pier 62 featues a skate park and a carousel, and is adjacent to the Chelsea Piers Field House, a spot for rock climbing, gymnastics, basketball and other physical-fitness fun for kids and adults; several cruise lines, including the Spirit of New York and Classic Harbor Lines, which offer harbor cruises with themes like classic jazz or wine tastings; and a brand-new, 15,000 square-foot, poured-concrete skate park. Pier 63 has a large public lawn which hosts summer movie screenings.
