Pure Thai Cookhouse has an innovative menu executed by the sweet-faced and behatted Vanida Bank, who greets customers as she stirs and pivots behind a noodle bar. She and her husband, David, co-own this cozy, contemporary luncheonette and are also behind the Thai restaurants Land and Recipe. Specials are displayed on a blackboard and the permanent menu includes crispy sesame crepes with shrimp mousse and Kaffir lime curd; ginger curry with calamari and bok choy; and handmade egg noodles with roasted pork and lump crabmeat.
