Description
Set amid rolling hills on the south shore of Staten Island, this former country club course received extensive renovations in 2004. The reconstructed tees, cart paths and other turf improvements make it attractive but also challenging for serious golfers: players need length off the tee and precision play as they approach the greens. Overall, South Shore offers an enjoyable golf experience that’s convenient to the City but a world away from its hustle and bustle.
