The Floating Pool Lady
Description
In 1890, the floating pool was nothing out of the ordinary, with 15 bobbing in New York Harbor and in the Hudson and East Rivers. Now, however, there's only one place in NYC that really lets you swim on the water: "The Floating Pool Lady." This seven-lane pool-on-a-barge in Barretto Point Park reconnects New Yorkers (and visitors) with the natural environment and waters that surround NYC. The barge even has sprinklers for the tots.
