The Wild Project

Description

The Wild Project is an eco-friendly theater, simultaneously promoting the arts while protecting our planet by creating a green performance space that also presents the work of emerging artists who are supportive of environmental causes. Performances here include dramas and musicals, films, live music, and visual arts in the lobby space. The shows often touch on important topics like gender and sexuality along with works that celebrate women in the arts. One of the larger events taking place at the Wild Project is the East Village Queer Film Festival.
