St. Paul's Chapel

Opened in 1766, St. Paul’s Chapel is Manhattan's oldest public building in continuous use, and is known for its historic cemetery. George Washington prayed in the chapel following his inauguration as the President of the United States. The chapel hosts a variety of events, including concerts, Compline by Candlelight every Sunday at 8pm, and more. The chapel is open to the public 8:30am-6pm daily and the churchyard is open 8:30am-4pm daily.
