Cerca de 10.000 dançarinos em 150 grupos de todo o mundo visitam as ruas de Nova York para este alegre desfile musical multicultural. Os dançarinos, carros alegóricos, bandas ao vivo e DJs começam na 17th Street e na Sixth Avenue e seguem para o sul até a 8th Street, onde se agitam para o leste até o Tompkins Square Park. A festa continua no parque com o DanceFest, uma tarde de apresentações gratuitas, aulas e dança social em quatro etapas.
