O New York City Ballet começa sua temporada de outono com o inimitável lago  Swan de George Balanchine. A estação inclui outras obras de Balanchine, como Ballade (a última encenada em 2003) e Tchaikovsky Suite No. 3. Entre as outras apresentações notáveis estão a estreia da NYCB do turbulento Heatscape de Justin Peck, a épica The Goldberg Variations de Jerome Robbins e uma estreia mundial de Jamar Roberts, ex-dançarino e coreógrafo residente no Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.
