Just inside the entrance of this museum, dedicated to the history of American lighthouses, is the Wall of Lights, a collection of more than 160 mini lighthouses. Sponsor one and you can have your name be a permanent part of the museum.

This lovingly restored vintage theater hosts a variety of concerts and big-name comedians, along with plenty of family-friendly fare. Look forward to stage productions of Alice in Wonderland and Madagascar, among others.

Looking for a local Staten Island brew? Flagship is as local as it gets: the brewery usually has five of its own beers on tap, one of which is typically a seasonal variety. Start with that—winter’s Flagship Wee Heavy, a malty reddish-brown brew.

This colorfully painted venue offers bar-food favorites like burgers, steaks and sandwiches. Add to that its pool table, karaoke nights and selection of beers, and you’ve got a great reason to make the short walk here from the ferry.

Scheduled to open in March 2018, the Empire Outlets will be a major addition to St. George. The first and only shopping outlets in the City, they will anchor the retail scene on Staten Island’s up-and-coming waterfront.

Part eatery, part bar, this local Italian spot is steps away from the ferry terminal and serves up dishes like shrimp scampi and veal marsala. The vodka slice alone is worth the trip.

Adjacent to the ferry terminal, this waterside restaurant specializes in seafood including raw oysters and steamed pots. There’s a large outdoor dining space and wall-to-wall glass windows to maximize diners’ views of the Manhattan skyline.

Along the North Shore waterfront, you’ll spot this pair of skyward-reaching wings. The interior walls of the sleek white structure hold plaques with the names, birth dates, job titles and silhouettes of the Staten Island victims of 9/11.

The minor league team’s home, Richmond County Bank Ballpark, has exceptional views of New York Harbor over its outfield wall. Postgame fireworks follow select home games.
