Este local de música ao vivo, bar e restaurante sem cobertura foi inaugurado em 2007, mas rapidamente se tornou uma instituição de bairro. Uma noite típica no Shrine apresenta de cinco a seis bandas, geralmente reggae, funk, jazz e shows de música mundial, embora o Shrine também apresente hip-hop, rock, pop e eletrônica, seguidos por DJs e dança; domingo à tarde é o lugar para o Sunday Jazz Jam semanal.
