Um passeio pelas ruas de Chinatown

A Chinatown de Manhattan, um bairro no centro da cidade, a um grito da Manhattan Bridge, passa por atividades durante o horário comercial. As bancas de produtos agrícolas, fitoterápicos, especialistas em carne assada, lojas de presentes e restaurantes adoráveis dominam no nível da rua. Sinalização em chinês adorna fachadas de edifícios e toldos de vitrine, aumentando a natureza internacional da área. Seu nome e personagem datam do século XIX, quando os imigrantes se estabeleceram em um aglomerado ao redor de Pell, Doyers e Mott Streets; o bairro desde então se espalhou e, apesar do boom das duas outras principais Chinatowns da cidade, em Queens' Flushing e Brooklyn's Sunset Park, sem mencionar áreas menores nesses dois bairros, continua sendo a mais atraente para os visitantes.
