Descrição
Servindo o Queens desde 1970, o Black Spectrum Theatre abriga produções cênicas, filmes e artes cênicas que ajudam a promover e conscientizar sobre questões dentro da comunidade afro-americana. O teatro também funciona como estúdio de cinema e vídeo, e aluga para artistas em ascensão na comunidade. Entre os ex-alunos estão Iris Wilson (dançarina principal da Broadway Fela! ) e o ator Mario Van Peebles.
