About NYC Restaurant Week

NYC Restaurant Week is the highly anticipated—and often imitated—celebration of dining throughout New York City. The prix-fixe program invites diners to sample the incredible array of eateries that make up NYC’s culinary culture.

Created in 1992 as a one-time culinary event to welcome the Democratic National Convention, the program found a strong following among residents excited to dine at some of the City’s top restaurants.

Now NYC Restaurant Week returns this summer, running from July 20 to August 16. The program will offer prix-fixe menus starting at $30 at hundreds of participating restaurants and neighborhood favorites across the five boroughs. To book your table, visit the official NYC Restaurant Week page starting July 14.

FAQs

NYC Restaurant Week is a semiannual program that celebrates New York City’s world-famous dining scene. Participating restaurants citywide offer menus at a special price for lunch and/or dinner, inspiring diners to try something new (and even break bread in a different borough).

The program runs from July 20 through August 16, but restaurants may participate for one, two, three or all four weeks. Always check the NYC Restaurant Week page before booking to ensure the offer is active at your desired restaurant at the time you want to dine. While our website reflects the most accurate information at the time of publication, we recommend checking a restaurant’s participation information on their website or by calling the restaurant directly. Saturdays are excluded from the program and Sundays are optional. Be sure to check the hours of operation at the restaurants you plan to visit.

The summer 2026 program features a trio of pricing options ($30, $45, $60), which restaurants may offer during meal periods of their choosing (lunch, dinner or both). This structure allows a greater variety of restaurants in all five boroughs to participate, creating more options—and more available reservations—for diners.

In general, restaurants have opted into certain meal periods from Monday through Friday. Please check their websites for hours of operation and regularly scheduled closings. Saturdays are excluded from the program; Sunday participation is optional.

Takeout and/or delivery is not an official component of NYC Restaurant Week Summer 2026.

Reservations for NYC Restaurant Week Summer 2026, available on July 14, can be booked here.

You can browse Summer 2026 participants at nyctourism.com/restaurantweek and click on the menu icon or any restaurant for more on their offerings. Please note that not all restaurants may choose to publish their menu. Be sure to check which weeks they are participating, which meals they are offering and visit their website for hours of operation.

Registration remains open for restaurants that missed the original deadline. Restaurants will be added on a rolling basis until July 28, 2026.
