Since its Philadelphia debut, Double Knot from restaurateur Michael Schulson has been celebrated for bold sushi, sashimi and robatayaki, paired with inventive cocktails and saké. The Midtown Manhattan location offers a bi-level experience that blends lively social energy with focused dining across two thoughtfully designed floors. Upstairs, the sushi bar and cocktail bar set the tone; below, The Amber Room hosts the robatayaki grill and a second bar that carry the same spirit. Together, the two floors offer guests a seamless journey from one experience to the next, while creating a more intimate atmosphere below. Double Knot New York's menu pairs signature dishes like seasonal sashimi and the chef's tasting menu with curated cocktails and saké selections that highlight both classic and inventive flavors. Highlights include hand-cut nigiri, robatayaki-grilled seasonal vegetables, meats and fish, and an array of small plates that showcase the depth of Japanese-inspired cooking with a modern twist.
