Description
This cheerful neighborhood deli and restaurant has been catering to a loyal neighborhood following since 1953. It's a little off the beaten path for tourists, so prices here are much lower than the delis in Midtown. Liebman's is in a well-traveled shopping area of the Bronx, surrounded by quiet, attractive residential streets. They're justly celebrated for sweet-and-sour stuffed cabbage, matzo ball soup and sliced brisket of beef. Hot dog fans will also be pleased by the mustard-slicked version found here. Round, homemade knishes filled with potato, kasha, meat or spinach are another specialty.
