Description
Quality Italian has that wow factor—an unexpectedly beautiful, sexy dining space and lounge convenient to Carnegie Hall, Central Park, Fifth Avenue shopping and high-end hotels. A breezy bar is at street level, but the magic is found up a marble staircase, with secret nooks, sparkling cocktails and perhaps the most gorgeous bathrooms in the City. Like its sister restaurant, Quality Meats, there's a focus on steaks and chops. The raw bar, terrific salads and pastas are also noteworthy, but the dish generating the most buzz is the massive chicken parmigiana for two, cut into eight slices with a pizza wheel.
