Alfama Restaurant

Out of Business

Description

After a 10-year run in the West Village, Alfama has a new address in Midtown East in an elegant, relaxing and convivial space. Partners Tarcísio Costa and Miguel Jerónimo continue their culinary cultural mission of serving Portuguese flavors with a new look and menu. Executive chef Francisco Rosa takes a fresh approach to the country's cuisine, with modern dishes rooted in Portuguese classics that are also inspired by the country's many former colonies, from Brazil to Goa to Southern Africa.
