Description
On a cobblestone street in Dumbo is a patisserie that's worth crossing the Brooklyn Bridge for. Hervé Poussot, a veteran of Le Bernardin and Payard, crafts unparalleled baguettes, fruit tarts, madeleines, macarons, swollen pecan pie, giant cookies and airy sweet meringues almost as big as a shoe. His savory offerings are also tantalizing, with crunchy sandwiches and soufflé-like quiche for the lunch crowd. The modern industrial space has a few marble tables for in-house consumption.
