Everything inside Amma is a warm, orange-coral color, including the chairs and the funky spiral lights. Contrasting the youthful atmosphere is a seasoned chef who turns out great traditional Indian food. You’ll find all the standards you’d expect—naan, tandori and lots of curries—and the standouts include the lamb chops and the prawns for the carnivores in the crowd, and cheese-and-chile-stuffed mushrooms for the veggies. Save room for dessert, like the kulfi ice cream in a citrus soup.
