Description
Animals specializes in creatively engineered sandwiches that leave bologna and white bread in the dust. The pulled-bacon sandwich is spiked with chipotle mayo and pickled jalapeños, and The Beast is a crusty loaf stuffed with tender short ribs braised in red wine. Chicken, pork, smoked trout and vegetarian options are also on the list, coupled with punchy condiments. This cute and rustic little nook is attached to The Wayland, a dive bar extraordinaire featuring craft cocktails and live music several nights a week.
