Bar Chuko

Located across the street from Chuko Ramen, Bar Chuko provides patrons with a space to relax with a drink and a small plate in the traditional izakaya format—a Japanese style of informal after-work drinking and dining. The full bar menu is accompanied by a selection of interesting and inventive light Asian-fusion bites like rice cakes (a crowd favorite), soft shell crab buns, chicken bone ramen, surf clam tartare, fried baby anchovy and grilled rice ball. There are vegetarian options, too; this is Brooklyn, after all.
