BKW by Brooklyn Winery

Out of Business

Description

BKW, a Crown Heights full-service restaurant, flows from the folks behind Brooklyn Winery in Williamsburg. Servers are skilled in offering wine pairings with the extensive menu—like barbecue braised short ribs with a cabernet franc, a peppery red whose grapes are grown on the North Fork of Long Island and has the weight to hold up to the smoky meat. For the pan-roasted cod served with black rice risotto, a barrel-fermented Riesling might work. On Tuesday nights, bottles are half-price, but sit at the bar any night and sip locally made wine along with a cheese board.
