This beloved haunt is one part wine bar, one part Scandinavian-influenced café and one part model- and celeb-heavy brunch spot. Aside from an amazing wine list, compliments of wine director Byron Bates, the homey, scene-y, wood-floored restaurant also specializes in herbal teas, all-day breakfast and a sophisticated dinner menu featuring crisp Amish chicken, pappardelle and veal schnitzel. For brunch, it doesn’t get better than Select’s Croque Monsieur.
