Caffe Reggio

Description

Caffe Reggio opened in Greenwich Village in 1927 and still retains its charm to this day. The coffee shop claims to have brought the first cappuccino to America, and inside sits its very first espresso machine, purchased by original owner Domenico Parisi in 1902. The dimly lit interior, with cracked walls covered in ornately framed large paintings, contribute to the appeal of the space. Famous for its cappuccino, espresso and other caffeine-charged drinks, Caffe Reggio also serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, and its menu features many Italian specialties.
