As the name suggests, the carrot cake rules at this storefront pastry shop, which, contrary to what the name suggests, is not owned by an overly-muscular, flame- haired comedian. From made-to-order wedding cakes to elaborate catering trays to a regular menu that features breakfast, lunch and dinner, Carrot Top (the store, not the dude) is absolutely delicious. And the price is right here, too—it’s hard work finding anything over $7 on the menu (not to mention a cup of fresh-brewed coffee for under a buck).
