Description
Crown Heights locals can tuck into homestyle Mexican grub at this bright, 60-seat cantina. Gather friends around one of the reclaimed-wood tables and order from a menu of traditional dishes, including enchiladas, elote (grilled corn with chipotle mayo and cotija cheese) and the Plato Don—a make-your-own-taco plate loaded with tortillas, chipotle chicken, grilled steak, rice, beans, guacamole and pico de gallo. At the colorful bar, inlaid with hand-painted tiles, find South of the Border beers (Negro Modelo, Pacifico), 50 tequilas and mescals, and the curious offering of margaritas and sangrias on tap.
