Comida resembles a watering hole more so than a Mexican restaurant, with its long wood bar, wood tables and a few high bar tables providing a panorama of Columbus Avenue. The menu looks to the Yucatán Peninsula for influence on its plates—like slow-roasted chicken rubbed with achiote, and cauliflower fritters with tomatillo salsa. Nachos, queso fundidos and empanadas with an assortment of stuffings are also crowd-pleasers. Just keep in mind that the check might be more than you anticipate here, with $2 tacked on for a basket of chips.
