Rapper Doug E. Fresh got famous for his talents as a human beatbox, but his Harlem eatery shows he has other skills up his sleeve. The classic fried chicken–and–waffles combo served here is a good and filling meal for under $10. Caribbean accents shine through in the jerk chicken, and there's soul in sides of cornbread, collard greens, sweet yams and macaroni and cheese.
