Duzan Mediterranean Grill offers a classic menu of Middle Eastern specialties: falafel, hummus, a selection of shawarmas, ful mudammas, among others, and it has gained a loyal following. The falafel has garnered comparisons to Taim in the West Village, and the flavorful hummus comes in a variety of styles: hummus abu ghosh, for instance, is topped with garlic and pine nuts; hummus msabaha has chickpeas. Sandwiches are accompanied by fresh-made pitas, and the entire menu is very affordable. Duzan is great for picking up some nosh while on the go, and deliveries are available for orders over $12.
