Fatty Snack
Out of Business
Description
Zak Pelaccio's Fatty empire includes Fatty Crab in the West Village and Fatty 'Cue in Williamsburg, in addition to spin-off kiosks in Battery Park: Fatty Snack—selling snacks, ice cream and sweets—and Fatty 'Cue, offering an edited menu of pulled pork and beef brisket sandwiches as well as a grass-fed beef burger. Both stalls are convenient to the ferries that ply the waters to the Statue of Liberty, should you need to make a pit stop for a nosh on a bench under a shade tree. Nearby is the Urban Garden, a bamboo-walled oasis growing the organic vegetables that go in Fatty's sandwiches, salads and side dishes.
