Please note: this business is now closed; nycgo.com keeps record of many old and closed venues. Golden's Deli is the only restaurant with a real New York subway car as part of its decor. The slightly refurbished car has more-comfortable cushions on the original seats and new tables, but everything else remains, including the antique grab holds. On the side of the dining car, Golden's also features a huge mural of 1940s-era Grand Central Terminal and a replica of Grand Central's iconic ceiling above diners' heads. The kosher deli and restaurant is often called the Katz's of Staten Island, and the perfect place to snag a matzo ball soup or knish. Golden's also features a complimentary cole slaw and pickle bar.
