Nodding the neighborhood’s Dutch roots, Hoek (“nook” in Dutch) is a family-friendly destination for Roman-style pizzas. Brick interiors give way to a spacious dining area where you can order classic red pies (fior de latte, tomato, basil) or try a white one (gorgonzola dolce, potato and pancetta). Other offerings include a vegan mozzarella option, a full wine and beer menu, and menu recs from the husband-and-wife owners (just ask). Closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
