Off the beaten path by the Manhattan side of the Williamsburg Bridge, Kings County Imperial is perfect for gourmet Chinese food lovers. It’s dark and clubby, with a bar scene and comfy booths. The menu is similar to its sister restaurant in Brooklyn and warrants repeat visits to sample everything. Start with crisp sesame shrimp toast, lotus root salad and dry-fried long beans with ground pork. Generously portioned wok stir-fries and tea smoked duck with pancakes are also fantastic.
