Krok

Out of Business

Description

Another offbeat Thai restaurant, Krok, moved into what was Andy Ricker’s Pok Pok space on the Columbia Street Waterfront, appealing to the same type of eater seeking heat and authenticity. Look for crisp fried chicken wings marinated in fish sauce, several variations of green papaya salad and the pad kra-prao, a spicy standout of minced pork stir-fried with basil, garlic and chili. Chef Krit Ploysomboon’s dishes are designed for sharing and inspired by Isan-style street food from northeastern Thailand.
