Out of Business

Description

Ivan Velazquez was born to a butcher’s family in Puebla, Mexico. The family expanded the business with taquerias. At the age of 14, the young entrepreneur began selling tacos on his own. La Avenida, named for one of the big, wide streets where his family had a taqueria, is his Latin-infuenced neighborhood restaurant and bar in East Harlem.
