La Ventura

Out of Business

Description

La Ventura is a neighborhood place in the West Village—brick-lined and laid-back—that serves creative, excellent food. Along with your drinks, nibble on blistered shishito peppers or a crunchy hot chicken sandwich dolloped with labneh and served with crisp shoestring potatoes that come with both aioli and ketchup. Swordfish Milanese in a pool of tomato sauce is the way to go for a main course. Vegetarians are also in for a treat with jerk sunchoke kebabs with garlic flatbread and refried lentils.
