L’Estudio Ocafe

Description

Lower East Side gallery owners and art patrons frequent L’Estudio, a wellness cafe with global appeal. There is harmony in the light-filled storefront suffused with low-decibel world music. Pale wood shelves and tables support ceramic vases and dishware crafted by Fernando Aciar, an Argentine artist and chef who co-founded the space with Alejandro Alcocer, another chef-artist. There is a coffee bar with fresh baked breads and cakes, plus two dozen or so seats where diners can relax over fare like skillet-baked eggs, chia pudding with raw granola and creative salads and sandwiches.
