The instant this intimate, cash-only, BYOB pizza joint opened in Carroll Gardens, locals were dubbing it their home away from home. What used to be a candy store now houses a stagelike pizza oven—where all the pies are made in front of customers—with great lighting, resulting in to-die-for pizza. Not long ago, owner Mark Iacono even allegedly rushed out some patrons so that he could give their table to Jay-Z and Beyoncé.
