Meili

Description

Meili is a refined Sichuan dining experience located within the Coda Hotel in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, that brings the bold, vibrant flavors of Sichuan street food into a sophisticated setting. Launched in 2025 by the team behind Midtown Manhattan’s acclaimed Chili, Meili is a place where tradition meets innovation. Led by Chef He, the menu features inventive takes on classics like mapo lobster, tea-smoked duck with sticky rice, and the fiery “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” (sliced beef and tripe in a chili-peanut sauce). A thoughtfully crafted cocktail list highlights Sichuan-inspired creations like the Oolongtini and Pearl Glow. Designed by Steven Chen with Hanna Bem, the interior sets the mood under the warm glow of a lantern with deep red lacquer walls, custom jade and bronze accents, as well as sculptural glass fixtures—perfect for intimate dinners or private gatherings.
