Mr. White

Out of Business

Description

Bon vivants who love New Orleans can channel its spirit and cuisine at Mr. White, designed like an elegant mansion in the French Quarter. The house specialty is grilled oysters with butter, parmesan, parsley and lemon, plus a baguette provided to soak up the delectable sauce. Bonus points if you visit Sunday through Thursday when they’re half-price at happy hour (5:30–6:30 pm). Partners Jeffrey White, Kelly Rheel and Andrew Dunleavy, also the chef, offer warm hospitality, prawns and grits, black rice jambalaya and a crawfish po’boy.
