Nick’s Pizza

Unlike most famed New York pizza joints, Nick Angelis' does not rely on a brick or coal oven to bake the pies. He uses a standard gas oven—and the results are tremendous. Kids and adults alike love the crispy pizza (add nearly any topping for an additional charge), where the mozzarella bubbles just right. Nick’s favorite is half meatballs, half garlic. After the 'za, try a cannoli that gives Mulberry Street a run for its money.
