Nonono

Japanese grill cuisine is explored at Nonono, a windowed bi-level emporium with seating options in private nooks, at communal tables and facing the glassed-in kitchen. Skewers of chicken, pork, short rib, beef tongue and several vegetables are patiently turned by cooks looking for just the right char. The menu, which is illustrated, includes creative salads, sashimi, sushi, rich bone broth soups and deep-fried duck with egg salad. Sake, wine and cocktails are also served.
