Parmys Persian Fusion

In the East Village you'll find just about every type of ethnic food on the planet, some of it styled up for Manhattanites, and some, like Parmys Persian Fusion, as true as anything sought by foodies in Queens. Amir and Mojgan Raoufi, an Iranian brother and sister, have channeled their mother's spirit, recreating her hearty, homey soups, spreads, shish kebabs and stews. The exposed-brick dining room is warmed up by hanging Persian rugs and gentle arches, with an extra, 20-seat space next door for private parties and the overflow on weekends.
