Peaches HotHouse

Description

Slowly revolving ceiling fans, blues music, butcher-block tables and luscious baked goods on the counter give off a decided Southern feel. But since this is Brooklyn, and the chefs are Ben Grossman and Craig Samuel (Peaches, The Smoke Joint), there's a modern touch to the shrimp and grits, black-eyed peas and fried green tomatoes. If you like your poultry spicy, try the juicy, peppery Nashville-style hot chicken. The crowd is a good mix of locals, cops and intrepid Manhattanites.
