Pilar Cuban Bakery

Description

Next door to Bed-Stuy’s popular Pilar Cuban Eatery is a fantastic little spin-off with a pastry case displaying tempting Spanish-influenced goodies. Golden, handmade empanadas, paprika-laced chorizo pie and the dulce de leche brownie are great snacks if you’re on the go, but there are also a few tables where you can sit down and stretch out the experience. As for the freshly made sandwiches, the crackling Cubano and the Porkinator (five types of pork on Cuban lard bread) are amazing.
