Pokéworks

Description

Expect long lines at this California-transplant, which offers poké with classic ahi tuna, salmon or, as their name states, the works: seared albacore, chicken breast or a mix of shrimp and scallops. There was recently quite a bit of hubbub around the restaurant’s “pokiritto,” which takes the poké fixings and wraps them up in seaweed, thus becoming colloquially referred to as the “sushi burrito.” These, too, can be modified to include updates to the traditional recipe by adding diced mango, kale, roasted macadamia nuts or sriracha aioli.
