Potluck Club

Description

This homage to old Chinatown is a hipster version of a Hong Kong café (or “cha chaan teng”), blending Cantonese and American diner classics. Inside there’s an Asian movie theme, with murals inspired by slapstick comedy Shaolin Popey and Chinese cartoons. The open kitchen (overlooked by high-top seating) knocks out coffee milk tea and chow mein, but also French toast (with longan jam and milk tea whipped cream), and a popular salt and pepper fried chicken with fluffy biscuits and chili jam.
