Out of Business

Description

Print may be a hotel restaurant (at the boutique Ink48), but it has an identity of its own, with a menu derived from regional farms and local vendors. It changes seasonally, but you might find Brooklyn-made ricotta with arugula pesto on crostini, seared sea scallops with pancetta and artichokes, and crisp duck with wheat berry risotto. David Rockwell did the dramatic, textured design, with surfaces sporting towering flower arrangements. The name comes from the fact that the building's former use was as a printing plant (on the rooftop is the Press Lounge). The off-the-beaten-path location has its advantages—it's a place for couples to cozy up where they won't be bothered.
