Qi

Out of Business

Description

You don't have to be a health nut to like Qi, a modern Asian-fusion restaurant that melds Taoist macrobiotic and Hindu ayurveda principles. That means lots of fresh herbs and vegetables that retain their crunch in stir-fry and noodle dishes. It's not vegetarian, but there are plenty of meatless choices. The food is tasty and artfully presented—rice sculpted into cones, for instance—and the environment is pleasing, the walls lined with red and black abaci and models of clipper ships floating over communal tables. The lunch specials, served every day until 3:30pm, are a great bargain.
